WHERE DID MARCH GO!?!?!

Well time flies when you are having fun so each classroom wanted to share a highlight of March!

Cookie Monsters

  • “The Cookie Monsters enjoyed St. Patrick’s Day by finding gold coins that were hidden around the classroom and by decorating shamrocks. We also enjoyed learning about different insects. We talked about caterpillars turning into butterflies and we read The Very Hungry Caterpillar.”

Counts

  • “The Count class sure does love to cook/bake so on St. Patrick’s Day we decided to make a rainbow cake complete with gold coin toppers. Each child played a big role in preparing the cake for baking from cracking eggs to adding oil and even mixing it all together. They also each mixed a different color food coloring into parts of the batter to create the rainbow effect of the cake. The Counts also went old school and played Mr. Potato Head with real potatoes.”

Sunshines

  • “This March, the Sunshine class learned about insects. We talked about the differences between bugs and insects and used toy insects and paint to see what insect body prints look like.”
